Look back and reflect on MOCA’s history, past exhibitions, initiatives, programs, and permanent collection, and see how all of these efforts relate to our present offerings and future initiatives. This series is led by MOCA's team of curators.
For today's Past, Present, & Future series, MOCA invites poet and writer Harmony Holiday to present poetry works for National Poetry Month. As a frequent MOCA collaborator with her Return from Exile series, Holiday selected poetry archive videos with a focus on temporality. Holiday selected these videos as a preface to her Sunday Book Club program with Virtual MOCA, an essayistic meditation on reading as it relates to her archival practice and writing practice. Watch today’s videos below and tune in Sunday to participate in Book Club.
