Look back and reflect on MOCA’s history, past exhibitions, initiatives, programs, and permanent collection, and see how all of these efforts relate to our present offerings and future initiatives. This series is led by MOCA's team of curators.
This week, MOCA curators are thinking about the works in our permanent collection. Check out MOCA Assistant Curator Rebecca Lowery offering a special look at the work of John Boskovich (1956-2006) in the short video below. Boskovich was a fascinating LA artist who has been long under-recognized despite his unique vision. MOCA is lucky to have several works by the artist in its collection, including a timely titled Keep your hands to yourselves from 1996.
