Look, engage, create. Sunday Studio is MOCA’s free, drop-in gallery exploration and studio art program for all ages and experience levels. Start with a discussion of Kerry James Marshall: Mastry and explore the artist’s diverse and joyful depictions of African Americans in portraits, landscapes, interior scenes, and paintings of historical events. Then visit MOCA’s outdoor art studio for related art-making activities with MOCA educators, teen interns, and Sunday Studio Artist-in-Residence Patricia Fernández.
