Solutions to climate change and environmental collapse already exist. Through collective behavior shift and regenerative thinking we can defuse these existential threats within one generation. Climate solutions have the potential to transform our economy and our relationship to nature, but they need our participation and support to take root.
This interactive workshop will offer pathways to move from despair into realistic optimism, laying out concrete actions we can take towards addressing climate change. The workshop is free and open to the public.
Pachamama Alliance is a global community that offers people the chance to learn, connect, engage, travel and cherish life for the purpose of creating a sustainable future that works for all. With roots deep in the Amazon rainforest, our programs integrate Indigenous wisdom with modern knowledge to support personal, and collective, transformation that is the catalyst to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet. Since 2020, our Climate Action Training has helped communities in 7 countries launch over 130 climate solution projects and thousands of actions.
MOCA’s environmental programming is organized by Kelsey Shell, Environmental and Sustainability Strategist, with Alitzah Oros, Public Programming Associate, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
Highlighting the museum’s work around climate, conservation, and environmental justice, MOCA’s environmental programs are guided by the work of the MOCA Environmental Council. The environmental programs present artists, activists, and scholars committed to critical ecological issues in Los Angeles and globally.
This program was made possible by Nora McNeely Hurley and Manitou Fund.
