To celebrate the extended pop up, OOF Books presents a lightly staged reading of The Troubadour, a new installment from Jack Levinson’s The Square Circle Story. The anthology-style series depicts the social universe surrounding the fictional indie-rock band Square Circle, who, between 2003 and 2012, become the biggest band in the world. This freestanding short episode takes place on a film set in 2007. The staged reading features a cast of seven actors and projected illustrations by the author, who also acts as narrator.
Cast: Peter Falls, Naïma Hebrail Kidjo, Mercedes Kilmer, Loren Kramar, Kaitlin Magowan, Ruby McCollister, Sean Monaghan, Allyn Morse, Lyla Porter-Follows, Omar Salazar, and Sparkly 22.
Doors at 2pm. Performance at 2:30pm. Runtime for the production is one hour and fifteen minutes.
