Last Call: MOCA × NTS Square Party

Our summer-long MOCA culture:LAB residency with NTS Radio wraps up with a bang.

Join us for an afternoon of live DJ sets, dancing, and food at the NTS Square Party on our Sculpture Plaza.

MOCA culture:LAB supports the production and dissemination of culture, embracing experimentation through collaboration and collective imagination. Whether forging new community partnerships with emerging groups or amplifying those who are already making significant contributions to the field, culture:LAB moves beyond the walls of the museum into the ever-evolving cultural landscape of Los Angeles to explore pathways toward artistic action and innovation informed by issues of our time.

NTS Radio is a global music platform and radio station, broadcasting from over sixty cities every month. It started as a DIY passion project in Hackney in 2011, with the aim of creating an alternative to stagnant mainstream radio. Since then, NTS has expanded with permanent studios in Los Angeles and qqManchester. The platform has over 600 resident hosts, composed of a mix of musicians, DJs, artists, and everything in between. Consistently championing the underground scene and a leading voice in alternative culture, over half the music played on NTS isn't available on popular streaming. With a growing global audience of over 3.5 million monthly listeners, NTS is broadcasting the best in underground music on a mass scale - completely free of charge and without on-air advertising.

NTS Radio @ MOCA culture:LAB is organized by Justen Leroy, Director of Public Programs and Community Outreach, with Alitzah Oros, Public Programming Associate, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
