Dieter Roelstraete will discuss his work as part of the international curatorial team organizing Documenta 14, the 2017 iteration of the renowned quinquennial exhibition of contemporary art. As former Manilow Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, he is also co-organizing (with MOCA Chief Curator Helen Molesworth and Metropolitan Museum of Art Associate Curator Ian Alteveer) a major Kerry James Marshall retrospective for 2016. This lecture is part of MOCA’s new series focused on the work of contemporary curators.
