The Los Angeles-based publishing house Hesse Press, founded by artists Clare Kelly and John Wiese, focuses on making L.A.’s rich art scene accessible through a series of artists’ monographs published each fall and spring. Hesse Press grew out of conversations between Kelly and Wiese about the need for tangible financial and logistical support for artists in Los Angeles. Join us at MOCA Store to celebrate the release of Sara Rara’s Earth Breakup and Kate Hall’s I Did But I Don’t Anymore, the newest titles in Hesse Press’s series of monographs. The book launch will feature DJ sets by Cali Thornhill Dewitt & Yasi Salek and food by Lydia Glenn-Murray.
