Artist Miljohn Ruperto works across media and disciplines, often in collaboration with others. Typically drawing from historical and anecdotal events, Ruperto creates replicas and outlines from enactments to speculate on the nature of assumed facts and truth. For Open House—a series of exhibitions organized by Los Angeles–based artists and drawn from the museum’s permanent collection of more than seven thousand objects Ruperto applies his artistic perspective to the excavated material and layers of new information presented in Open House: Elliott Hundley.
