Artists on Artists: Mayo Thompson on R. H. Quaytman

Lecture

Mayo Thompson is spokesman of The Red Krayola, a rock-and-roll band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1966. Thompson has an equally long-standing critical and productive involvement with the visual arts, and his artwork has been exhibited in New York and Berlin. At MOCA, Thompson will discuss the work of R. H. Quaytman as part of Artists on Artists, a series that builds upon MOCA’s tradition of examining artworks and exhibitions through the voice of the artist.

Priority tickets are available to MOCA members one hour before the program at the MOCA Box Office. Fifteen minutes before the program begins tickets will be released to non-members. One ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is recommended.
