Adrián Villar Rojas designed The Theater of Disappearance in a way that positions the viewer halfway through the process, between the exhibition’s creation and decomposition. Through radical shifts to the floorplan and design of The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, the exhibition challenges visitors to experience the museum differently. MOCA Research Assistant for Latin American Art Bryan Barcena, co-curator of the exhibition, will lead a walkthrough exploring the concept, creation, and execution of this monumental exhibition.
