A selective retrospective in memoriam to internationally acclaimed American abstract painter, Sam Francis (1923-1994), included a rare showing of his early paintings from the late 1940s and continuing through the last works completed in 1990, over 50 paintings and 30 works on paper. Accompanied by a catalogue and traveled to The Menil Collection, Houston; Malmö Konsthall, Sweden; Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid, Spain; and Galleria Comunale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Rome, Italy.
