Lucian Freud

Freud (b. 1922) is considered to be Britain’s greatest living realist painter. This major retrospective brought together key works from his more than 60-year career, including paintings, drawings, and prints, as well as new work for the exhibition. MOCA was the only U.S. venue and debuted a new Freud portrait of artist David Hockney.
