An examination of the influence of the poet and critic Frank O’Hara (1926-1966) on American art. One of the most renowned poets of his generation, O’Hara was also a central figure in the New York art world of the 1950 and 1960s. More than 100 works by twenty-six artists, linked by O’Hara, are featured. Accompanied by a catalogue and traveled to the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio and The Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, New York.
