The first and only joint presentation to date of all three of Arshile Gorky's later masterpieces The Betrothal, Betrothal I (in MOCA's permanent collection) and Betrothal II, along with eight preparatory drawings for the finished works. Co-organized by MOCA and the Whitney Museum of Art and also traveled to the Yale University Art Gallery; accompanied by a fully illustrated brochure.
