Division of Labor: 'Women's Work' in Contemporary Art

Through more than 50 works created by 36 female and male artists over the past three decades, "Division of Labor" featured works which derive from domestic traditions that have historically been seen as women's work, using unconventional artistic media and techniques (sewing, knitting, quilting, etc.) as well as non-traditional subject matter (motherhood, domesticity, housework, etc.). Organized by The Bronx Museum of the Arts.
