Alternating 1 to 100 and vice versa

Italian artist Alighiero e Boetti created works that question the notion of individuality and the role of the artist; 50 red boxes, each containing one of 50 weaving patterns done in 1992 by students from French fine art schools and friends of the artist; 50 kilim rugs based on the patterns; and ten drawings on canvas. MOCA presented 28 rugs and corresponding patterns and the ten drawings. Organized and produced by the Magasin, Centre National d'Art Contemporain de Grenoble in France.
